Pro-xylane is a xylose derivative with anti-aging activity, can promote the synthesis of collagen, make skin stronger and more elastic, improve neck fine lines, and prevent aging. Pro-xylane is a mixture of glycoproteins derived from xylose.

Pro-xylane is also a non-ionic surfactant, which has good dispersion and emulsifying properties. Therefore, at the initial stage, low concentration Pro-xylane was also used as an emulsifier or dispersant of skin care products in a "overqualified" way. However, after all, it is blocked by the skin barrier. In addition, Pro-xylane has weak biological activity, so Pro-xylane needs to reach a higher concentration on the skin surface to increase the absorption amount through osmosis with the help of concentration gradient. 1.
